Midnight in Paris

Recently I watched a lovely film Midnight in Paris, released in 2011,  with Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams . It stuck a particular chord within me as my dream is to live in Paris one day (hopefully even do my masters there) and, like the main character, I do think that Paris looks beautiful in the rain. “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast,” Hemingway wrote in “A Moveable Feast,” It has all the elements of a lovely film; humor  good music, artists Picasso,Gaugin, Matisse, Toulouse Lautrec and many more and all the literary greats like Ernest Hemingway, Zelda & Scott Fitzgerald and Gertrude Stine. It is interesting to see how all the characters have  been portrayed and the actors that were cast to play all these amazing people.

This inspired me to post a few pictures of beautil Paris and the places I would like to visit one day. All in the rain, of course.
