” I came, I raved, I loved “
This is the catch phrase for Swedish House Mafia’s “One Last Tour”. And I was there.
This weekend the beautiful city of Johannesburg and the Wild Waters complex were host to one of the biggest DJ trio’s in the world. The trio is made up of Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello, all independent DJ’s who came together to produce hit tracks like “Who’s Gona Save the World” and the chart topping massive hit called “Don’t You Worry Child”.
The show was mind blowing. The effects were amazing, including the massive smoke machines, audio visual displays, the flame throwers, the fireworks, the confetti and the lasers. At one point in the show the South African flag was shown on the massive LED screen behind the DJ’s and the stood up on platforms and waved the South African flag. The crowd went crazy. The trio played for 2 hours and every minute of that was an experience. The spectators could not stop dancing and the mood was almost ecstatic. I am not going to go on and on about how amazing it was because it’s impossible to describe in words. You had to be there. However I will leave you with a few video’s so you can get an idea. Enjoy!
